MorphoMechanX stems from the Ph.D. work of Dr. Gabriella Mosca under the supervision of Dr. Richard Smith. The FEM software has kept evolving till it became a user-friendly, GUI-based interactive software parallelized with Cuda on the GPU or via OMP. MorphoMechanX is an AddOn of MorophoDynamX, a simulation platform developed by Dr. Richard Smith and his team.
Dr. Mosca and the BM^2 Lab, based in Tubingen, use MorphoMechanX as their main research tool and continuously work in expanding its features and capabilities.
